The Mission For My Life Is...
.To be the best I can be, and share my knowledge along the way. Kindness Matters!
.My educational career started on a whim. I wanted a job working at our local High School and I had to have a two year degree to get that job. That being said once I started going to school and found how much I loved it , I decided to keep going and pursue my bachelors degree. school
I worked at BinghamtonHigh School in several capacities but my favorites by far were when I was able to interact with students. I was class advisor from 2003 - 2016, when I left Binghamton High S.chool I also worked at Binghamton High School for Binghamton University as a Parent and Activites Coordinator for a program called GEAR UP an acronym for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergreaduate Programs. This program was federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education and for students that were first time college goers, low income and were generally in need of the services we offered. However, no stdent was ever turned away. Our program help students to navigate the process for college access. We assisted with SAT prep, college essays, interview processes and more.
As the activities coordinator my job was to educate students and parents with the necessary tools to help their children be successful. I did presentations for parents and students, other educators, administrators and fellow GEAR UP Program peers. I presented at large educational conferences at many larger conferences through out the country, as well our local and regional meetings and conferences. It was truly humbling and a positive experience that I continue to draw upon in many aspects of my Real Estate world.
I'm anxious to take my knowledge back to the high school and educatioanl programs here in my community and I have already reached out to those I worked with at the High School and they are anxious to participate. As a KW agent I am ready to give back
