I am a Trinidadian woman that grew up in the Bronx in the '80s. I went to a private school because my mother wanted a better life for me. Many challenges have come into my life that I thought defined me. My story may not be unique but it's my story. Learning to own my failures and my triumphs have been eye-opening and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences if it encourages others in their lives.
My mission for my life is to leave this world better than I found out. If I could pour into every young adult what I have learned, I would gladly do it, knowing that they don't have to make the mistakes I have made but instead, become a better them, even faster than they ever could have imagined.
