Having started his first company right out of high school, Danny T quickly learned what it takes to be successful - dedication and purposeful engagement. Danny T owned and operated his residential remodeling company for 14 years in San Antonio, Texas. Time spent buying and flipping homes in a growing real estate market prompted him to obtain his real estate license. After three very successful years helping buyers, sellers and investors, Danny T was called into full-time ministry. He served as Family Minister at his home church and completed his Bachelors in Biblical Counseling during that time. Working with young people as a pastor was an amazing experience, and the call to encourage and teach was ignited. Following his three year commitment at his home church, he jumped back into real estate sales.
Danny T joined Keller Williams Realty in 2001, serving in leadership roles in the area of training and career development at the Heritage office, as well as selling a lot of homes. In 2011, Keller Williams Realty International invited Danny T to lead the KellerInk publishing department. In this role, he worked directly with Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. Danny T didn’t sit still for long. A promotion to Executive Director of Operations in 2012 allowed him to drive numerous departments, multiple special projects, including launching the KW Farm & Ranch Division, and support agents and leaders nationwide.
Gary Keller asked him to take on the new role as Executive Director of KW Kids Care, (now KW NextGen) and with the help of a great team, Danny T got KWKC off the ground and changing the world. Moving back to San Antonio two years later, Danny T left the national nonprofit organization with over 350 instructors, and over 11,000 young people having been taught the concepts of Quantum Leap. The crowning achievement was building a technology infrastructure that allows KWKC to function at a high level fully automated, reducing the human resource costs dramatically while delivering powerful content across the US, and in several other countries as well.
As a MAPS Coach, Danny T was able to assist others across the country to grow thier businesses and become more intentional. Working in the real estate business with his wife, Kat Thompson, and also launching a new insurance agency in San Antonio, Texas, Danny shows no signs of slowing down. His passion is to encourage all thos he meets to dream big and go for it. "You only live once, so you owe it to the world to live full blast!"
