As a lifelong resident of the Greater Lansing Area, Brooks Warner's roots are squarely planted in Michigan. Having served our country in the Marine Corps from 2004 until 2013, serving others comes naturally to him. Brooks began his real estate career with PreviewProperties.com in 2013, winning the Bob Dingler “Rookie of the Year” Award, and joined Keller Williams Realty in 2016. At that time, Brooks founded Mitten Home Team LLC. Brooks is currently an Associate Broker at Keller Williams who provides outstanding service by thoroughly educating his clients so they are able to make informed decisions throughout their home buying and selling process. Since starting Mitten Home Team LLC in 2016, he and his team have assisted local individuals and families with approximately 200 real estate transactions.
Brooks uses his real estate license to give back to the community as a Homes for Heroes Affiliate. Homes for Heroes, Inc. is the largest nationwide network of affiliate real estate, mortgage, and local business specialists committed to providing easy ways for heroes, such as law enforcement, firefighters, educators, health care professionals, EMS, and those who are serving or have served in the military, to save on a home. As an affiliate, Brooks has donated a portion of his earnings on the sale of each home to local heroes. To date, he has had the opportunity to contribute approximately $50,000 back to those clients.
As an avid outdoorsman, Brooks serves on two boards, Michigan Trout Addicts and Quality Deer Management Association-Capital Area Branch.
Michigan Trout Addicts is an organization that brings the trout fishing community together in an online platform. Annually, the organization hosts five tournaments where proceeds go toward assisting families with children who have been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, Angelman Syndrome.
As a member of the board of Quality Deer Management Association-Capital Area Branch, he mentors children of military families in Michigan. His group was awarded the 2018 QDMA Event of the Year for their annual Michigan Military Youth Hunt.
Brooks consistently demonstrates the importance of community and giving back through his work, hobbies, and interests. He and his wife, Kristen, are raising two daughters, Madelyn (6) and Macy (2) in Grand Ledge and are an asset to the communities and people they serve.
Brooks is a learning-based individual that is hungry to learn at every opportunity and share what he learns with people around him to help improve their lives. As learning based individual, he has developed a habit of seeking out new information at every chance he gets. Reading/listening to an average of 24 self-development/business books a year and regularly listening to podcast and seeking out new knowledge.
